Sweet Yellow Habanero is a distinctive chili pepper with the tropical, citrusy flavor of a traditional habanero but little to no heat. Its crisp, deeply fruity pods measure just 0–850 Scoville Heat Units, compared with up to 300,000 SHU for standard habaneros. The wrinkled, lantern-shaped peppers ripen from light green to sunny yellow on compact, bushy plants that grow 2–3 feet tall. Use them in salsas, salads, sauces, and garnishes for bright habanero flavor without intense spice.

Harvest Note: Harvest the peppers light green for a fresher flavor or wait until they turn bright yellow for full sweetness and fruitiness. Cut the stems to avoid damaging the plant.
