The Scorpion Butch T is a legendary super-hot pepper that once held the Guinness World Record. Developed by Butch Taylor and propagated by Neil Smith, this Trinidad Scorpion variety reaches up to 1,463,700 Scoville Heat Units—about four to five times hotter than a Jamaican Red Scotch Bonnet. Its sweet, floral, fruity flavor gives way to intense, building heat. The short, wrinkled pods ripen to glossy red and feature a distinctive scorpion-like tip.
