Roma Heirloom Tomato is a compact, determinate paste tomato prized for thick, meaty flesh, low moisture, and rich flavor. The pear- to plum-shaped red fruits weigh 2–6 ounces and contain few seeds. Bush-style plants grow about 3–5 feet tall and ripen most of their fruit within a 2- to 3-week period. Their low water content makes them ideal for thick marinara and tomato paste. They are also excellent for canning, freezing, dehydrating, and making less-watery fresh salsa.

Growing Notes: Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant outdoors after frost when the soil has warmed, spacing plants 18–24 inches apart in full sun and rich, well-draining soil. Water consistently at the base and provide stakes or cages for support.

Harvest Note: Harvest when the tomatoes are fully red, firm, and release easily from the vine. Pick regularly during the concentrated harvest period.
